Donate a set of Wind Scale Experience Apparatus to Natioal Taiwan Science Education Centre
Long Win has been devoted to rearching mechanics-related apparatus to provide useful tools for industries and research institutes. Besides, we also have strong commitments on spreading basic science education. The exhibition - Typhoon is Coming has been held at National Taiwan Science Education Centre from Dec. 24, 2011 to Mar. 11, 2012. Long Win designed and manufactured a set of LW-9580 Wind Scale Experience Apparatus and donated it to NTSEC for both the special exhibition and future demonstration.The apparatus has a speed scale of 1~35 m/sec to simulate Beaufort Wind Scale. In the test section, there are man-shaped model, flag model, and manual drag model to experience each wind scale condition. The LCD screen can show related physical parameters, including real-time wind speed, corresponding Beaufort scale, and the force exerted on the man-shaped model.
