LW-9561 10U Heat Load Dummy Server

Introduction
In cloud computing projects, heat dissipation performance of data center is one of the crucial issues. It affects energy saving, environment protection and device reliability significantly.

Servers are stacked in the rack and belong to the fundamental unit of data center. Since then, it is important to understand its cooling performance and optimizing it certainly helps the overall capability.

LW-9561 Heat Load Dummy Server has a height of 10U, and is convenient to be installed on a standard rack. It has embedded heating units with controllable heat output, PWM-modulated fan cooling, all digit displays and DAQ system for recording temperature, heating power, differential pressure and airflow rate.


Specification
  1. 10U Chassis with guide track, which can be installed in a standard rack.
  2. Install 800W heating units, which compose of heaters and fins.
    5 sets in total.
    Each set can be modified its heating power, which resolution is 100W.
  3. In the chassis, there are 4~6 fans in the inlet and their RPM are controlled by 1 set of PWM meter.
  4. Maximum flow rate: 1000 CFM, which is controlled by fan’s voltage; resolution: 50 CFM
  5. The flow rate of chassis can be calculated by System Resistance Curve (differential pressure-airflow rate).
  6. 12 points of temperature measurement in the chassis inlet; 24 points of temperature measurement in the chassis outlet; there are 6 sets of temperature measurement in total.
    Accuracy: ±0.5°C; reading: 0.1°C; with digit display and RS-485 interface.
  7. Power measurement: Voltage accuracy: ±1.0%; current accuracy: ±1.0%; power accuracy: ±1.0%;
    2 sets in total; with digit display and RS-485 interface
    Range: 0 ~300 V and 0~5 Amp; maximum power: 1500 VA.
  8. Pressure measurement: Accuracy of differential pressure transducer: ±0.25%, Setra brand, made in USA.
    With digit display and RS-485 interface. Range: 0 ~ 12.7 mmAq
  9. Over-heating protection (Referred temperature: 180°C) by power disconnection
    With over-current protection for digit meters.
  10. DC power supply for fan: 1 set of Switching Power Supply DC48V, 10A.
  11. PC-based data acquisition for heating power, differential pressure (airflow rate), inlet temperature, and outlet temperature without any PC hardware.
  12. Software: LW-9237; data format: Microsoft Office Excel
  13. Power source: AC220V, single phase, 30Amp, 50 / 60 Hz
    With more than 1 set of 10U, the power source will be AC220V, three phases, 50 / 60 Hz.
